“Joint Statement of Current Employees of LEPL Public Service Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice:
November 29, 2024

We, the employees of LEPL Public Service Development Agency, declare that our daily activities have served and continue to serve the country’s development, creating a modern, effective and citizen-oriented public administration system, which is the foundation of Georgia’s success on the path to European integration (for example: the agency has an important role in visa liberalization, implementation of European service delivery practices, introduction of qualified, reliable services and other important processes). Implementation of European standards is our priority and we spend enormous energy and resources in this direction. This is not just a professional duty, but a responsibility to our fellow citizens and the future of our homeland.

We firmly support Georgia’s aspiration for full membership in the European family and believe that the European integration process is irreversible and necessary to ensure a dignified life for citizens. We believe that removing EU membership negotiations from the political agenda until 2028 will cause significant damage to the country’s interests.

We continue working with the responsibility undertaken by the agency and each of us, so that citizens feel even more quickly and fully the changes that come with approaching Europe.

It is our firm decision to continue our activities uninterruptedly, in accordance with European standards, and protect the values crucial for the country’s future. We remain loyal to the country, its constitution, law, obligations under international treaties, the people, and European integration, which in turn is a provision recognized and reaffirmed by the Constitution of Georgia.”
