“Public Statement of Tbilisi Municipality City Hall Employees:
We, the employees of Tbilisi Municipality City Hall, clearly and unequivocally declare that we distance ourselves from the decision to suspend Georgia’s EU membership process until 2028 and all the reasons behind it.
In our opinion, this decision is not in line with the goal declared by the population of Georgia, which is reflected in Article 78 of the Constitution.
We were, are, and remain loyal to our citizens, constitution, those European values and the course that Georgia has chosen, and within the scope of our activities, we will continue to support the formation of our country as a European state.”
