More than 50 employees of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia are signing a joint statement. We present it unchanged:
“Joint Statement by Current Employees of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia:
Our primary duty as employees of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia is to strengthen state security, ensure the enhancement of defense capabilities, and maintain loyalty to the Constitution of Georgia.
The Ministry of Defense of Georgia has successfully served the implementation of national interests for many years, on one hand through the development of Defense Forces, and on the other hand by promoting Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
European and Euro-Atlantic integration represents the only path for further strengthening the country’s security and sovereignty, as well as the main priority of foreign and security policy, which is reinforced both by the Constitution of Georgia and all conceptual documents at national and departmental levels.
Recognizing the importance of Georgia’s cooperation with European and Euro-Atlantic structures and the contribution of Western partners in developing Georgia’s defense and deterrence capabilities, we remain faithful to the obligation outlined in Article 78 of the Constitution of Georgia.
We serve Georgia!”
